How many times have you cleaned your game controller? How many friends with sweaty palms (especially when they’re 10 down in FIFA) have used it?
You may know where your hands have been but do you know where theirs have been? I’m looking at you Ben.
Anyway, today I’m going to show you how to clean your game controller.
For this demonstration, I’m using the Xbox 360 wired pad / controller but same process applies for other controllers too.
What you need
- Flat stable work top
- Tooth picks
- Tooth brush
- Painting brush
- 3 ply Toilet paper (no that cheap stuff)
- Game controller (*wink*)
- Cleaning Foam
Place materials on a clean stable work top
Use the toothpick along the seam of the pad to remove that dirt, don’t be shy, put your back into it. Not too much though. Go around the whole pad.
Spray some foam into your palm and put some on the toothbrush. Scrub all the seams, triggers (those things you press to drive or brake in NFS)
Dry with the tissue. Make sure all get all that foam off.
Look at this filth, seriously look.
Use the dry paint brush to brush off the tissue particles that could have remained. Get your inner archeologist into it.
Admire your work and show everyone who cares to know.
Don’t forget to tell everyone to wash their hands before you destroy them in FIFA
PS The cleaning foam is about 15,000 UGX along Kampala Road
